Inglemoor/northshore Crew booster club, in collaboration with kcrc, are hosting a bloodworks northwest blood drive in honor of inglemoor crew teammate, lydia!

details:

August 30, 2026 10 am to 4 pm, a bloodworks NW donation bus will be parked by the kenmore community boathouse

Ages 16+ are welcome to donate, though anyone ages 16 or 17 will require guardian consent via the following permission slip.

Bring a photo id, and eat a hearty meal and drink plenty of fluids prior to your donation appointment!

Lydia's story

Our teammate Lydia, who was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor in December of last year, has been undergoing intense radiation and chemotherapy treatments and requires frequent blood products (whole blood and platelets) to maintain health. realizing there are critical shortages in the area. Bloodworks Northwest is the primary supplier of blood products to Seattle Children's Hospital where she seeks treatment with hundreds of other children. Your donation would be so impactful to the many kids fighting hard just like her.
